I earn minimum wage, and my job consists mostly of mopping the floors, doing oil changes and vacuuming cars, despite the fact that I'm fully capable of rebuilding engines. Submitted by ImGonnaPassPlz to askanelectrician Ģ023.03.29 18:20 ae112r Another depressed existential rant for your Wednesday evening I’ve also reached out to the seller to see if this issue has happened to them and if they know of a fix. I was already in talks with getting the utility company to do a meter spot so I can get a panel upgrade (100amp to 200amp). This is my first time dealing with something like this and just wanted to know if this is a common thing? They said no outlets or switches burnt out. They mentioned looking for a terminal box in the attic but had no luck locating one and that I should call someone else who has a large tracer to look within walls for a “popped wire”. I finally called out a n electrician yesterday and they looked around for two hours but also couldn’t find the cause. I located the GFCI outlets that I am aware of to attempt and reset it but still haven’t had any luck. However, there’s still many outlets that now don’t seem to be working. Regardless, I set everything to the off position and powered it back on. I figured it tripped the breaker so I went to go and look but nothing seemed to have been tripped. I plugged it into an outlet and when I went to power it on it just cut out immediately. So I recently moved into a new home and over the weekend I was vacuuming the garage with one of those shop vacuums.
